DeedMark™ is a highly cost-effective, machine readable document security feature that complements holograms and other overt security features. Documents protected with DeedMark can be automatically authenticated and tracked. DeedMark™ is hot foiled or hot-rolled onto paper documents. Once applied they provide each item with a permanent identity (i.e. a number) that cannot be copied, altered or erased. The foil fractures if attempts are made to remove it.

DeedMark seals are authenticated by hand-held readers. By linking the reader to a database, individual documents or products can be traced through their life cycle.  DeedMark is supplied as a roll of foil, suitable for application by standard high speed hot foiling or hot-roll equipment. Each roll can contain either incrementing unique numbers for individual item tracking or with a batch number for proving authenticity.
