Verid Browser allows the management and distribution, by TCP/IP over LAN, WAN or the internet,
of fingerprint templates.
With Verid Browser, an employee no longer needs to go to a each site to be biometrically
enrolled. The Verid Browser software contains records of employees, their biometric data and
information about which employees have access to which sites and at which times of the day.
Template distribution is controlled by Verid Browser which automatically transmits all the
requisite information to the appropriate Verid+ units regardless of where they are situated - in
the same building, complex, country or even around the world.
For example, a new employee might complete their induction and be biometrically enrolled
after training at Head Office. Using Verid Browser, even before they have returned to their
home location, their biometric template and access rights will have been installed into biometric
readers at their own office. For those employees with a need to visit numbers of locations, their
biometric fingerprints can be pre-installed wherever access is required. Just as importantly, the
registrations of staff, permanent or temporary, who are dismissed or resign, can be deleted
immediately; again, from one central, single point.
